Fair and social production
This criterion includes socially acceptable production conditions and a transparent value chain for the products. In addition to internationally regulated social standards, there are a number of specific measures that are initiated and implemented by the manufacturers.
Recycled material
This criterion includes products with materials made from already used ingredients that have been processed into new fabrics. For example, many sustainable bags are made from ocean plastics: their production causes fewer emissions.
Global Recycled Standard (GRS)
The GRS label distinguishes products that use recycled materials as raw materials and/or basic components. In addition, the manufacturing companies transparently disclose their entire supply chain with regard to social requirements, environmental principles and sustainability.
